We held the reading competition to promote a culture of reading and strengthen students’ interest in books. This program provided students from different educational levels the opportunity to showcase their abilities in understanding and analyzing book content.
Initially, we introduced books with diverse and engaging topics for participants to read. Then, participants answered questions and challenges related to the content of the books in various groups. We designed the competition questions to not only teach concepts but also improve students’ critical thinking and analytical skills.
The program created a healthy competitive environment among the students, which strengthened their spirit of collaboration and interaction. Teachers were present throughout the competition, assisting in managing and overseeing the event.
The competition concluded with the recognition and awarding of prizes to the winners. These prizes, symbolizing effort and a passion for reading, had a positive impact on students’ motivation to continue reading. The organization of this competition was an effective step in raising students’ awareness and promoting a culture of reading.
