What is Artificial Intelligence?
Artificial Intelligence refers to the development of computer systems capable of performing tasks that normally require human intelligence. These include learning, reasoning, problem-solving, understanding language, and even simulating emotions. AI is rapidly becoming an essential part of modern life.
Types of Artificial Intelligence:
Narrow AI (Weak AI):
Designed for specific tasks. Examples include:
• Voice assistants like Siri and Alexa
• Self-driving cars
• Recommendation systems on Netflix or Amazon
2. General AI (Strong AI):
Still theoretical, this type of AI would be able to perform any intellectual task a human can do, with flexible reasoning and learning abilities.
3. Superintelligent AI:
A future concept AI that surpasses human intelligence in every aspect, including creativity, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
Applications of Artificial Intelligence:
AI is used across many fields, such as:
• Healthcare – medical diagnostics and virtual assistants
• Business – customer service chatbots and data analysis
• Entertainment – video games and personalized content
• Industry – robotics and smart automation
