The seminar “First Aid and Its Application” was held at Setaragan Zirak School with the goal of teaching basic medical first aid principles for emergency situations and enhancing teachers’ skills in managing incidents within the educational environment. During the seminar, the expert instructor emphasized the critical importance of understanding first aid techniques for saving lives and minimizing the impact of accidents. She highlighted the need for preparedness in critical situations and explained how to identify and assess emergency conditions effectively.
In the practical session, teachers were introduced to essential tools and equipment for administering first aid, such as first aid kits, bandages, splints, and disinfectants. The instructor demonstrated immediate response techniques for various scenarios, including bleeding, burns, fractures, and choking. Practical training was also provided in CPR techniques and the use of masks for artificial respiration. These hands-on activities equipped teachers with the confidence to respond effectively during emergencies.
The seminar concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which teachers inquired about various emergency scenarios, and practical solutions were discussed for each situation. Teachers were also encouraged to continually update their knowledge and participate in similar courses to ensure ongoing readiness.
