Biography
Alia Amiri
Alia Amiri, a dedicated and motivated teacher at Setaragan Zirak High School, was born on September 6, 1995, in Surkh Parsa District, Parwan Province. She completed her primary and secondary education in Kabul and graduated from Zainab Kubra High School in 2015.
In 2016, Amiri enrolled at Kabul University, choosing Literature as her field of study, and received her bachelor’s degree in 2019. Her passion for teaching began during her student years; before graduation, she taught at Fetrat Private School (for six months) and Rah-e Pishraft Private School (for one year). After graduation, she officially began her professional career with the Agha Khan Foundation in the field of education. Since 2021, she has been teaching at Setaragan Zirak High School.
Through her calm, composed, and sociable personality, Amiri has built effective relationships with both students and their parents. She has also played an active role in various school committees, including curriculum, parent relations, health, and environmental greening. Her language skills include full proficiency in Dari (mother tongue) and intermediate proficiency in Pashto and English. Additionally, she is competent in computer programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Windows, and Paint.
Among her academic and research activities are preparing and compiling a supplementary textbook chapter in Pashto for grades four to seven (Winter 2023) and participating in several educational and scientific workshops and seminars organized by the Agha Khan Foundation.
Amiri’s dedication and commitment to education have provided her with an enduring motivation to serve society and to nurture the next generation.
